Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer as well as an animal rights activist. She is renowned for her films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). Born and raised in a family of artists in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of arts. Beginning she was employed as an photographer's assistant. Then her work changed towards modeling and directing. She received the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw's movie Love Story was an international hit, earning the actress an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After just three short films, MacGraw was declared as the top female performer film in the history of box offices. The Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph with handprints, foot prints and handprints in 1972. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
