David Muir is an American anchor and journalist popular for his ABC newscast World News Tonight with David Muir and for his role in the ABC News magazine 20/20, for where he acts as a anchor and co-anchor. With animated animations and dramatic clips of celeb news, the show has grown to become the most watched newscast in America. Made In America has also been nominated for an Emmy award. Prior to joining ABC World News Tonight, it was his primary replacement for the show's founder Diane Sawyer. He has reported numerous shows during primetime for ABC News some recent ones include Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint Refugees in America. The journeys he has taken him on took him to the far corners of the earth, from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and many more.
